Getaway Games FUNdraising
By being previously involved in competitive high school and collegiate athletic programs, the Getaway Games co-founders have had first hand experiences in all types of fundraising opportunities. In developing the Getaway Games FUNdraising Program, we hope to allow athletic clubs and organizations a new and exciting approach to the mundane and ordinary fundraising ways of old. Programs can potentially make over $3000 to help supplement a variety of expenses such as new travel suits, improved/new training equipment, off-season program enhancements, team building outings - and the list goes on!

Who: Getaway Games is focused on providing an energetic, well-executed, exciting, competitive, and most importantly, a FUN fundraising event for all participants to enjoy. With the cooperation of your athletic program, the Getaway Games event will raise money for your athletic program and also awareness of your team and school throughout your community.
What: Thought of as the 'Average Joe Pentathlon'; your Getaway Games fundraising event combines basketball, golf, softball, bowling and a card tournament into one action packed day. Yes, you read that correctly -– A ONE DAY EVENT!!!! Your one-day fundraising event will consist of up to 36 teams of 4 players competing for the coveted Getaway Games Cup.
AND FINALLY - WHY: Competitive athletic programs from across the country are needing to raise more and more money to help fund their prospective programs. School budget adjustments, state cut backs, and the rising costs of almost every aspect of a sport require 'outside the box' thinking when it comes to funding your teams journey towards a competitive program. The mundane and routine fundraising of old can only take a program so far. The Getaway Games Fundraising Event will push the envelope and become an annual if not biannual event helping sustain acceptable levels of funds to promote your programs growth for many years to come.
